Flight School Assistant

Summit is seeking a full-time Flight School Assistant. We are a flight training provider for Montana State University while serving the local aviation community and beyond. This position serves as a liaison between both MSU and the public.

This Full Time position does allow for flexibility, with a work week of Tuesday - Saturday with the following summarized responsibilities:

-Answering telephone calls/emails from customers, clients, vendors, and students

-Performing flight school tours for our part 141 operation

-Responding to Flight School inquiries in a timely manner

-Participating in the annual Montana College Tour circuit for the flight school

-Represent Summit at public relations events pertaining to the flight school

-Assist with Summit's internal events; MSU student events

-Be familiar with all Summit Aviation programs such as charter operations, intro flights, and the standards and procedures of each

-Expert knowledge of Summit's flight school operations (training period of 3 months)

-Maintain the building’s physical appearance and working order

-Assist with keeping all common areas neat and tidy

-Other tasks and duties as assigned

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 18 years of age
  • A valid state driver's license
  • 1 year of customer service experience
  • Knowledge of aviation industry a plus*
